Craig Church Ministries is gratefully governed by a ministry board of men who are both professional and spiritual leaders.
William Church, President
William is a life-long resident of Wilkes County, North Carolina. He and his wife, Robin, have been blessed with three children, two, who are home schooled, and one a recent graduate of Appalachian State University. William is the President of Appalachian Lumber Company, Incorporated of Wilkesboro, which he founded in 1983. He is a member of Highland Christian Fellowship in Boone. Over the years has held many leadership positions within the church.
William has a passion to see people changed by the power of the gospel. He is very much a family man and has a desire to see his family be a light for the cause of Christ.
Josh has lived in the Western North Carolina area for 37 years. He has been married to his wife Jennifer for 12 years. They currently are raising a son and daughter in the training and admonition of the Lord. Josh currently works for Samaritan’s Purse International Relief as an International Field Systems Manager. Josh has served in other leadership roles with the Wilkes Pregnancy Care Center, Millers Creek Christian School and sports ministries. Josh has also served as a Deacon in his home church.
Josh is committed to the furthering of the Gospel through many creative avenues.
He has spent most of his life with a background in Information Systems and Telecommunications and received his Bachelors in Computer Information Systems from Appalachian State University. He has had extensive disaster preparedness training and is currently on standby to go anywhere in the world where a major disaster occurs.
Keith Lyon is a native of Wilkes County and is the pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Millers Creek, NC, where he has served for the last seven years. Oak Grove is his second pastorate. He served Stoney Ridge Baptist Church in Northeastern Wilkes county for thirteen years. Keith has been married to his wife, Kathy, since 1982. Kathy is employed by Carolina West Wireless in Wilkesboro and Keith will admit that next to God, she is his greatest help. They have two sons, Brett and Ethan Lyon. Their oldest son, Brett is a graduate of Liberty University and is employed by Wilkes County Schools. Their youngest son, Ethan, will graduate from Pfeiffer University in May of 2013, and hopes to become a Wildlife Officer in North Carolina. Keith feels very blessed to be a part of Craig Church Ministries and the work this ministry is doing to bring souls into the Kingdom of God.
Tim has been married to Alice since 1985 and they have two children, Erica and Amos. They own and operate a Christmas tree and angus cattle business. Their farm is in Mouth of Wilson, Va.
They are all members at Bald Mountain Baptist Church in Ashe County.
After attending NC State University, Tim joined his family’s construction business in 1985. In 2004, Tim left the family business to pursue his dream of owning and operating a farm.
He enjoys being with his family, traveling, pheasant hunting and golf.
Tim is a Wilkes County native and graduate of North Wilkes High School and Appalachian State University. He has been married to Melissa Shepherd Lackey, also a Wilkes native, for 22 years. They have two children, Courtney, 17, and Cory, 12. In his spare time, Tim enjoys reading, hunting, fishing, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
Tim and his family are members of Hilltop Baptist Church, where he serves as a Deacon, Church Clerk, and Youth Leader. Tim feels blessed to be a member of the Board of Directors for Craig Church Ministries. “I have known Craig for a long time, and I have witnessed the Lord taking this man and his family and using them to do His work. My prayer is that I can, as a board member, support Craig and his family in the ministry and serve in some small way to further His kingdom.”
Tim is employed by Wilkes Community College as Lead Architectural Technology Instructor. He is also an Assistant Coach for the West Wilkes Girls Softball team, and the Heat 12U Baseball team. As evidenced by his career choices, Tim has a passion for youth and young adults and endeavors to help them reach their full potential in the classroom, on the ball field, and most importantly in life and in their relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Caison was born and raised in NC and spent most of his life in Wilkes County. Caison has been married to his beautiful wife, Amy, since 2001. They have 6 children, however, two died before their birth. Caison is a teacher for Wilkes County Schools while his wife stays at home and homeschools their children.
Caison and his family’s deepest desires are to be used for God’s glory, to have their family united in Christ, to see the body of Christ united, and to see God save the lost. They pray that this website and CCM will be used to these ends.
Brian and his wife, Kendall, have four sons ranging in age from seven to one. Brian has worked at Lowe’s Companies in Product Fulfillment since 2002 and has been called to be a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ since 2006. He graduated from UNC in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and from Liberty University in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Religion. He is thankful to be one of the founding board members of Craig Church Ministries and to witness the great things God continues to accomplish through Craig’s vision.
Michael is one of the founding Board Members of CCM. Michael is married to Teresa Duncan, his wife of 23 years. They have three children, two daughters and one son. Chaselyn, is their oldest child and is in the Nursing Program at Liberty University. Chaselyn recently married Joe Parsons on January 3rd of 2015. Mackenzie, is in High School and Thompson, their son, is the youngest.
Michael is currently the sitting Superior Court Judge for the 23rd Judicial District of the State of North Carolina. The 23rd District includes Alleghany, Ashe, Wilkes and Yadkin Counties. His Law Degree came from the JD-Cumberland School of Law from Samford University.
Michael and his family attend Millers Creek Baptist Church, where he is a Deacon and Sunday School teacher.
